Kobe Bryant might be a Los Angeles Lakers icon, but he also loved and supported other sports, including American Football. The late NBA legend had an affinity for the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL team.

Vanessa Bryant, who has spent the past five years keeping Kobe's memory alive, took to social media to share on her Instagram Stories that she was backing the Philadelphia Eagles during their face-off against the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9. The Eagles successfully stopped a three-peat during Super Bowl LIX, a feat that would have had Kobe jumping around, just as he did in a resurfaced video of him.

Vanessa repped Kobe's beloved team in style, by rocking a white graphic sweatshirt featuring Princess Diana in her legendary green Eagles jacket. She topped it off with a white and midnight green baseball cap with the team's modern logo, perfectly blending old-school loyalty with new-school flair. She applied her signature red lipstick to keep things feminine, perhaps a tone that Kobe loved to see her wearing.

The mom of four also shared a throwback pic of Kobe in a Donovan McNabb jersey, a nod to his longtime fandom. And if you are still thinking about searching for the resurfaced video of him celebrating when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl, we have embedded it below for your enjoyment.

The clip featured Kobe holding one of his daughters, and he went full fan mode. "Oh, thank God," he shouted. Oh my god, yes, bro. We won the f**king Super Bowl. That's it. That's it. That's it. We won the f**king Super Bowl."

Iconic.

Now, with Vanessa leading the charge, the Bryant family's Eagles love is still going strong. And if Philly pulls off another ring, you just know Kobe would be smiling down, giving that classic Mamba nod of approval.

Kobe was Honored at the Super Bowl

Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, days before the Super Bowl LIV, which was held at Hard Rock Stadium on February 02, 2020, in Miami, Florida. Before kicking off the game, the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs observed a moment of silence to honor the former NBA player, his daughter, Gianna Bryant, and the other passenger who also lost their life that morning.

“We love you, Kobe. We love you, Gianna," read the scoreboard, which also featured the names of those aboard. That night, each team lined up at the 24-yard line to represent the number Bryant wore during his career. They observed silence as an image of the late star and his 13-year-old daughter appeared on the screen.

"Our deepest condolences to the friends and families of those lost this past week. Nine individuals whose lives were cut short in Sunday's tragic accident, including Gianna and Kobe Bryant," the announcer said. "They will never be forgotten."
