Julia Fox always has a good story to share. The funny, and candid actress and model recently talked about her new home, which has her paranormal senses tingling. It should come as no surprise that Fox has a connection to the spiritual realm, something she has seemingly passed down to her son, Valentino, who turns 4 in June.
The 34-year-old has a new film out in theaters, Presence, and the family drama horror has some parallels in her life. The movie follows a young family who bought a 100-year-old suburban house from a real estate agent, played by Fox. Unfortunately, the house comes with a mysterious spirit.
Fox joined Late Night with Seth Meyers this week, where she opened up about her own experience. The actress and her son moved into a home in 2023, and like the film, she has a resident spirit named Beauty. "It begins like any ghost story. I felt a pull toward this house, and it was a full moon. That’s it. I’m getting the house," she shared.
Once she moved in, like something straight out of a movie, she says she found a letter in the basement from the previous owners, introducing Beauty, along with her personal items like a hairbrush and mirror. "It had all her things—her hairbrush, her mirror," Fox explained.
Thankfully, Beauty seems to be a nice ghost - for now. Fox did quip that she doesn't know if Beauty would like to share their business. “I felt so bad; I’m putting her on blast. I don’t know if she wants me talking about her," she quipped. After Meyers assured her a ghost who is making themselves known probably wants attention, she described Beauty as "wonderful."
"She’s like the matriarch of the house," she said. "She watches over us, and we love her." While Fox hasn't seen the ghost, she has always been able to sense things and it's something her son, Valentino, can do too, and he's even seen Beauty. "He'll say, 'I saw her, I saw her,'" she explained.

The Uncut Gems star went viral in January 2023 when she showed fans her apartment tour on TikTok. People were not shy about sharing their opinions on it size but others loved her low key lifestyle.
A few months later in May it was reported that the artist bought a four-story townhouse in Harlem, New York, for $2.9M, per the Real Deal. According to the outlet, she purchased it with her model and photographer friend, Richie Shazam Khan. The 4,800-square-foot townhouse was listed for $3.65 million, so they got a deal.
