She is now fully back at work. Yesterday Queen Letizia resumed her official schedule after her unplanned visits this summer to see firsthand the devastation caused by wildfires in several Spanish provinces. She did so in Torrelodones, Madrid, wearing a Spanish sale-find dress with Dalí-inspired embroidery paired with new espadrilles. Today her agenda continued in Madrid at CaixaForum, where she took part in the 3rd International Congress on Human Trafficking for Sexual Exploitation, organized by the Betania association.

The Queen’s look this late summer morning was very different from the one she showed yesterday. Today she appeared more classic, yet equally flattering. For her engagement in Madrid, which began at 10:30 am, Queen Letizia debuted a tweed vest in neutral tones. Although the vest might seem like a sober choice, she styled it with a fresh twist that suited the sunny day in the Spanish capital.

The most meaningful detail is that the piece highlights her charitable side, since it was made by women survivors of trafficking who are members of APRAMP, the Association for the Prevention, Reintegration, and Care of Prostituted Women. With this, her purchases from the Spanish non-profit now total three pieces: two tweed jackets, one red and one multicolor, and this vest.

With white pants and baby shoes

To style her new tweed vest, Queen Letizia went for a bright and fresh look, perfect for the last days of summer. She paired it with white culotte pants and matching Babie-style shoes, the Paula model from Sézane. She had only worn these once before, on July 24 during her visit to Sant Martí Vell as part of the Princess of Girona Awards events. For jewelry, she combined her Coreterno ring with Spanish lightning-shaped earrings by Bárbara Goenaga, which she first wore on April 26, 2024, and has now chosen on four occasions.
