After celebrating the 20th anniversary of her uncle Prince Albert of Monaco's accession to the throne, Princess Alexandra of Hanover had a celebration of her own. Princess Caroline's daughter turned 26 on Sunday, July 20.

Alexandra took to her personal Instagram on her birthday to share a carousel of photos. "The summer I turned 26🙄," she wrote in the caption, seemingly referencing Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

The Princess included snapshots of herself wearing a dress from Bode, as well as pictures of her dog Eloise sporting a life jacket and a slice of pie with berries. Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer wished Alexandra a happy birthday in the comments, writing: "Happy happy birthday ❤️❤️," to which the Princess replied, "thank you!! 🥰."

On her Instagram Story, Alexandra also shared a post featuring a scene from The Parent Trap where the film's antagonist Meredith Blake tells Lindsay Lohan's character that she is 26. "Meredith Blake era I guess," the Princess wrote.

Alexandra is the youngest of Caroline's children. Prince Albert's older sister shares Alexandra with her third husband, Prince Ernst August of Hanover. The 26 year old has three older siblings on her mother's side, Andrea Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi, and two older brothers on her dad's side: Prince Christian and Prince Ernst August. Earlier this year, Alexandra admitted that her older siblings have "made the future less scary" for her.

"I feel very close to them, and they're some of the most important relationships in my life. Growing up with a lot of older siblings has been very interesting, as has watching them grow up and see how they've gone through different stages of their lives," she told Elle España in an interview published in March (translated to English). "I feel very fortunate because, with them, their partners and families have come along, and I have great relationships with all of them. That's made the process of growing up less intimidating. Watching them move out, start homes, and raise their children has made the future less scary, I guess."

Imagining her own future at the time, the Princess said, "I hope it's creatively satisfying. I have an idea of the goals I want to achieve in the immediate future, but I'd like to leave the rest open to chance and the decisions of my future self."

The day before her 26th birthday, Alexandra and her boyfriend Ben Sylvester Strautmann joined members of Monaco's royal family at the Palace Square on Saturday to celebrate 20 years of Prince Albert's reign.
