The designer of the show-stopping headpiece wrote on Instagram on Friday, "Yesterday H.M. Queen Máxima opened the Fenix Migration Museum in Rotterdam wearing a beautiful pink ensemble with a silk flower headpiece by Berry Rutjes. All flowers made by hand.🌸."

"She does “bring it” doesn’t she? she’s so much fun," one social media user wrote of Maxima's look on X. Another penned, "She wears drama better than anyone!"

The royal mom of three was on hand for the opening of the new art museum on May 15. The Dutch Royal House shared footage from Maxima's appearance on Instagram, writing (translated to English): "In a restored monumental warehouse in Rotterdam you can find 'Fenix', the art museum about migration. It's at the place where people used to arrive or leave by ship, to start a new life.Queen Máxima opens the new museum. How is the story of migration told over the years? More than a hundred international artists, from all continents, tell the stories."

During her visit, the Queen toured the museum and spoke with artists and museum employees. According to the Fenix's website, "Migration stories from around the world – told by artists, global citizens, and Rotterdammers" can be found at the museum.

The museum's website notes that visitors will "experience migration through the eyes of international artists like Shilpa Gupta, Steve McQueen, Rineke Dijkstra, and Kimsooja. Or get swept away by hundreds of documentary photos in The Family of Migrants. In The Suitcase Labyrinth, you’ll hear personal stories from travellers themselves. Plein is a new covered city square inside the building, where Fenix creates the programming in collaboration with the people of Rotterdam. Craving a snack or anything? In Fenix, you’ll taste dishes that travel with people from all over the world."

Queen Maxima's visit to the FENIX Museum of Migration on May 15 came ahead of her birthday. King Willem-Alexander's wife will celebrate her 54th birthday on Saturday, May 17.
