Charlotte Casiraghi isn't Princess Caroline's only stylish daughter. Prince Albert of Monaco's older sister has a younger daughter named Princess Alexandra of Hanover, whom she shares with her third husband, Prince Ernst August of Hanover. "The public and traditional aspects of my life have been limited to isolated and special occasions, which has always allowed me to truly make my day-to-day life my own," Alexandra told Elle España in an interview published in 2025. The Princess has described herself as "creative, sensitive, and perceptive," and a "disciplined person by nature."

4. She has five older half-siblings. Alexandra has three siblings on her mother's side, Andrea Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi. The Princess also has two brothers on her father's side: Prince Christian and Prince Ernst August of Hannover. Speaking to Elle España about her siblings, Alexandra said, "I feel very close to them, and they're some of the most important relationships in my life. Growing up with a lot of older siblings has been very interesting, as has watching them grow and see how they've gone through different stages of their lives. I feel very fortunate because, with them, their partners and families have come along, and I have great relationships with all of them. That's made the process of growing up less intimidating. Watching them move out, start homes, and raise their children has made the future less scary, I guess."

7. She studied political science at New York University and went on to get her master's degree in history and literature from Columbia University in Paris. "When I started my studies, I was looking for something serious that would give me a better understanding of the world, so I opted for political science and philosophy. However, during my studies, I realized that my true passion was literature , and I discovered that you learn so much about life through fiction... and perhaps in a much more enjoyable way!" she told Elle España.

10. She has a mini dachshund named Eloise Von Lexington, who has her very own Instagram account.

11. "Kindness, good manners and a sense of humor," she told Elle España are family values she's been taught that she considers the most important in her daily life.

12. She's raided her mother's closet. "I have to admit that I borrow a lot of things from my mom's closet. She's getting used to it, and she even finds it funny," Alexandra revealed to Telva magazine in 2020. "Now that we're all aware that we need to change our shopping habits by spending less and more, I guess borrowing things from my mom's closet is more sustainable."

13. She's admitted to being a fan of the Olsen twins. "I've liked them since I was little," she told Telva of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2020. "They have dachshunds like us at home, they handle their privacy very well, they maintain the mystery."

14. She was 10 when she tried ice skating for the first time. "Although I had to quit a year before finishing high school (I had a lot of studying to do and had to prepare for university entrance exams), it will remain a key aspect of my life. I admire its blend of artistic and athletic discipline," Alexandra shared with Telva. "Its level of demand. I had, of course, to show up every day for training, but there was something even better: knowing that no one could do it for me. Sport doesn't care who you are or where you come from. You have to push yourself just like everyone else."
