While the Princess of Wales did not accompany Prince William to Royal Ascot on Wednesday, her husband enjoyed the company of her parents. Days after their daughter Catherine made her first public appearance of the year, Carole and Michael Middleton stepped out for day two of Royal Ascot. The couple joined their son-in-law and members of the British royal family at Ascot Racecourse on June 19. The heir to the throne was photographed sharing a sweet moment with his mother-in-law while at the event. The Princess of Wales’ mother and father, Carole and Michael Middleton, attended day two of Royal Ascot.

The Prince of Wales was also in attendance. Prince William and Queen Camilla participated in the royal procession on June 19, riding in the first carriage.

The Prince of Wales and his mother-in-law were photographed sweetly holding hands at the event.

Carole was seen chatting with members of the royal family, including Zara Tindall...

Carole and Michael watched from a box with their son-in-law at Ascot Racecourse.

Back in 2021, Prince William once joked (via HELLO!): “Some people are quite happy they haven’t seen their in-laws for a year.” He added: “I love my in-laws.”
