In a report shared by the company, Latinos turned to Google with all sorts of questions, whether in search of their latest recipe, the most recent political development, or the lyrics to one of the biggest and most successful songs of the year. The data also highlights how Latin culture has shaped global conversations, with audiences eager to explore new voices, revisit familiar favorites, and stay connected to the trends driving music, entertainment, and everyday life.
This year, Latinos Googled a lot of their music interests, from searching their favorite artists to wanting to have a deeper understanding of their songs by searching their lyrics.
Bad Bunny turned in this year's most searched song, with "DtMF." He was also the third most searched musician across all languages, preceded by d4vd, and KATSEYE.
Other Latin musicians that were featured include Karol G and Feid for their song "Verano Rosa." Cazzu's song "Con Otra," interpreted by many as a message towards her former partner Christian Nodal and his wife Angela Aguiar, was the seventh most searched lyric for Latinos.
When it comes to actors, Pedro Pascal remains one of the most memorable figures in Hollywood, occupying the first spot on the list. Other notable figures include Adam Sandler, Justin Baldoni, and Pamela Anderson. Aubrey Plaza is the only other Latino to be included on this list.
This year's recipe searches blended tradition with what's trendy and viral. Some of the most searched recipes include Jugo Valencia, an energizing drink that promotes lower sugar levels and cholesterol, alongside beloved and traditional dishes like Salsa a la Huancaina and Arroz Chaufa, two staples of Peruvian cuisine.
People also turned to Google for their most pressing questions, including where Pope Leo is from, the birthplace of Fatima Bosch and Melania Trump, who ended up purchasing TikTok, and explanations on "La Casa de Alofoke," a Dominican reality TV show trailing various urban music artists.
Googlers were also curious about some of this year's most notorious people, including Charlie Kirk, who became one of this year's most discussed figures following his assassination, and Lauren Sanchez Bezos, who married Jeff Bezos over the summer in the year's most talked about wedding.
