Lila Moss turned heads in London, transforming into a literal bird on the runway at the 16Arlington x Antony Price Salon Show. Draped in a silver minidress crafted entirely from feathers, the 23-year-old model exuded both elegance and drama as she strutted down the catwalk.
The strapless design featured a slightly fitted waist, while upturned feathers at the sides added a magical touch. She elevated her frame with white Mary Jane heels and completed the look with a high, twisted bun slicked back with precision.
The runway spectacle was far from a solo performance. Moss shared the stage with the West End Girl herself, Lily Allen, who made her runway debut in a midnight-blue velvet “siren” dress. Backstage, Moss celebrated alongside familiar faces, including Adwoa Aboah, Marco Capaldo, Kai-Isaiah Jamal, Antony Price, and Edie Campbell.
Moss’s performance in feathers comes after her appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last month, where she walked alongside fellow industry scions Iris Law and Amelia Gray Hamlin.
Taking to Instagram after the show, she wrote, “Pink is back! @victoriassecret. So grateful to get to spend time with the most amazing women and walk alongside them all. We had so much fun!!!!”
Following in her legendary mother Kate Moss’s footsteps, Lila began modeling at 15. Despite Kate’s cautionary words, she pursued the career. “She was always like, ‘If you want to do it, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it,’” Lila told British Vogue.
Lila’s early career mirrored her mother’s, including a Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign that launched her into the industry, just a year older than Kate was when she first started.
By 2020, Lila had made her runway debut for Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week, and she’s since appeared for brands like Fendi, Stella McCartney, Coperni, and Chloé. Last year, she even joined Kate on the Victoria’s Secret runway, a milestone that cemented her place in fashion’s next generation of stars.
For Lila, her mother’s influence extends beyond genetics and early opportunities. “My mum's advice is mostly that less is more,” she told Vogue in 2023. “I think makeup-wise, outfit-wise. I think her other big thing is just be kind to everyone.”
Lila has also admitted to regularly borrowing her mum’s wardrobe and replicating her style, a habit that’s practically a rite of passage for the Moss duo.
Lila told British Vogue, “I don't know that my mum expected me to go into fashion, really – I'm quite shy, like her – but she's fully supported every decision I've made. She hasn't helped me with her walk, though. She's like, ‘You just have to feel it. I don't know what I do. I just do it!’ I'm like, ‘Cool – off to practise some more, then…’ That's typical of us.”
She continued, highlighting their contrasting styles, “She's more carefree, where I'm more organised. She's intuitive, I'm disciplined. I know what I'm doing on a Wednesday afternoon a month from now, whereas she has a more… lax approach to timekeeping. It's a good balance. Even now that I'm based in New York, we still FaceTime every day.”
Despite being raised in the shadow of one of fashion’s most iconic figures, Lila has carved out a distinct identity. While her mother’s aura remains inescapable, Lila’s runway presence and fearless style choices signal a confidence that’s entirely her own.
