While visiting the charity Home-Start in Oxford this Thursday, October 9, the Princess of Wales stepped out in a striking olive green suit, a design by none other than Victoria Beckham. The look, featuring a fitted jacket named “Katherine” and flared “Alina” trousers, belongs to Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

It’s not the first time Kate has worn the ensemble. The royal first debuted the tailored set back in May during the presentation of the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, hosted by the British Fashion Council.

At the time, she had styled it with a white ruffled blouse from Knatchbull. This time, however, she opted for a clean, monochrome look by pairing it with a matching green top, which was a subtle yet powerful statement, not unlike those often seen from royals like Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

As accessories, Kate recycled some familiar favorites, including gold Celia pumps from Ralph Lauren (in her wardrobe since 2020), tear-shaped green amethyst earrings by Kiki McDonough, and a gold necklace by Daniella Draper, engraved with the initials of her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The Princess’s choice coincided perfectly with the public premiere of 'Victoria Beckham'

The olive-toned power suit was not only eye-catching, but it was also timely. The Princess’s choice coincided perfectly with the public premiere of 'Victoria Beckham,' a new three-part Netflix documentary that explores the former Spice Girl’s evolution from pop icon to acclaimed fashion designer.

Just one day earlier, Victoria Beckham hosted a star-studded event at The Curzon Mayfair in London to celebrate the launch. She was joined by family and friends, including designer Tom Ford and actress Eva Longoria. During her speech, Beckham reflected on the personal and professional journey that led her to this moment.

On October 8, at the Curzon Mayfair, the designer and former Spice Girl delivered a warm speech as she introduced her docuseries to the world.

The docuseries dives deep into both the glamorous and grueling sides of her career. From the whirlwind fame of the Spice Girls to the demanding world of fashion design, Beckham doesn’t shy away from discussing her struggles, including the intense pressure to maintain an image and her experience with an eating disorder.

She also recounts the harsh public scrutiny that followed her throughout her career. Despite the weight of fame, Beckham has built a fashion empire that has earned respect from both critics and royals alike. Besides Kate Middleton, other royal women such as Queen Letizia of Spain and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium have also turned to her designs.

The connection between the Beckhams and the royal family isn’t new. David and Victoria Beckham have attended major royal events over the years, including weddings and state functions. David, a longtime friend of Prince William and Prince Harry, even joked about their shared love of football in a 2012 interview with Esquire.

"They’re very easy to get along with. They love their sport. William loves Aston Villa, unfortunately, which obviously I give him a bit of stick about," he said, referencing the team rivalry. David has played for major clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, and LA Galaxy, and in 2024, he was appointed ambassador for King Charles’s charity, The King’s Foundation.
