Despite the unfortunate incident, Fátima Bosch has been thoroughly enjoying her days in Thailand.

Bosch explained on social media that the previous hotel guest likely broke something in the room without the staff noticing. When she arrived, she found small fragments of glass scattered on the floor. Although she cleared the visible pieces, it seems some shards remained.

While walking barefoot or in thin-soled sandals, one of those fragments embedded itself in her foot. Using a pair of tweezers, she managed to remove part of the glass, but she admitted that the pain lingers.

“I stepped on a tiny piece of glass that I thought I removed with tweezers. I cleaned it up, but the spot still hurts a lot, so I think there might be a little shard left in there. Since the skin already closed, I’m obviously not going to poke at it or open it,” the beauty queen said.

“But it really hurts when I step on it, and right now I have no time to go to a doctor.”

Focused on her Miss Universe commitments, Bosch says the pain intensifies whenever she walks.

Bosch explained on social media that the previous hotel guest likely broke something in the room without the staff noticing.

“Because it hurts so much, I’m pretty sure there’s a tiny piece still inside, and it’s a bit bruised. It’s nothing major, but it definitely hurts,” she added.

“If they have to open it, I’d rather they just remove whatever’s in there right away,” she said.

“I’ve had such a great time. I’ve met incredible girls from different countries, each with their own stories and purpose,” she shared.

“I’ve enjoyed this experience so much, the camaraderie has been amazing. We’re literally like cousins,” she said during the same livestream.

“We focus, we have fun, we work hard… we’ve created such a beautiful sisterhood. They’re all so lovely. I want to invite them all to Mexico,” the Mexican representative added.
