Netflix and Spotify closed out The Doom Tour with a theatrical finale that only Wednesday could inspire. At Guastavino’s in New York City, 300 lucky fans, influencers, and press, including HOLA!, filed into a “Graveyard Gala” that felt ripped from the halls of Nevermore Academy. The spooky soirée was a celebration of "Wednesday" Season 2 Part 2 (premiering September 3, 2025), and also doubled as a stage for Lady Gaga to reveal her brand-new single "The Dead Dance," set to appear in the show.

Guests even stepped into custom coffins for an exclusive first listen. The evening was a gothic fever dream, headlined by the presence of Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, and Gaga herself.

Jenna Ortega’s Shredded Siren Look

Jenna Ortega leaned fully into her gothic It-girl status with a distressed gray gown that seemed to slink straight from the crypt. The floor-length piece hugged her frame and flared into a ragged, tattered train with hand-cut slashes and frayed edges, giving it a deconstructed elegance.

The front featured a knotted halter detail, while the back revealed an intricately slashed lattice cutout, almost resembling skeletal bones peeking through fabric. The stone-wash texture of the dress enhanced the eerie vibe, perfectly on-brand for Wednesday Addams.

Her styling took it a step further. With wet-look hair falling in sharp strands and smudged smoky eyes, Ortega embodied gothic grunge glamour.

She kept accessories minimal but sharp with layered, delicate silver chains, a stack of edgy rings, and a simple silver bangle. It was haunting and high fashion all at once.

Lady Gaga’s Gothic Queen Moment

Lady Gaga arrived as a full-blown gothic queen if Jenna was the modern siren. Channeling Tim Burton’s theatricality, Gaga wore a black ensemble that merged armor-like corsetry with sweeping, Victorian-inspired layers of tulle. The bodice, adorned with metallic embellishments, looked almost like enchanted locks, while the puffed sleeves and dramatic skirt turned her into a hauntingly majestic figure.

But what stole the show was her hat, a sculptural, bat-winged creation with oversized curves, perched dramatically on her platinum curls. It was equal parts camp and couture, the exact level of spectacle Gaga is known for. Her makeup sealed the mood, featuring porcelain skin, deep blood-red lips, and shadowed eyes that gave her the aura of a vampiric empress.

The Music Meets the Macabre

The Graveyard Gala was about music, fashion, and was a cultural handoff. With Gaga debuting "The Dead Dance" as part of Season 2’s soundtrack, the event reminded fans of how music and Wednesday’s storytelling have intertwined from the start. Season 1’s viral dance scene to Gaga’s "Bloody Mary" became a global TikTok phenomenon, sparking her eventual casting in Season 2. During the event, that synergy came full circle.

The Next Chapter at Nevermore

"Wednesday" Season 2 Part 1 was released on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3, 2025.

The logline promises razor-sharp wit, bone-chilling mysteries, and supernatural foes awaiting Ortega’s Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy. With Tim Burton directing key episodes and Gaga officially part of the cast, the franchise is set to keep its grip on global culture.
