Chief of War (Apple TV+)

Jason Momoa's passion project is now streaming on Apple TV+. "Chief of War" follows a warrior in the 17th century, played by Momoa himself, who is trying to unite the Polynesian islands before the arrival of Westerners and the region's ultimate colonization. Momoa has spoken fondly of the series, credited as one of the co-creators, writers, and directors.

Twisted Metal (Peacock)

Starring Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz, "Twisted Metal" is an action and comedy series based on a video game about fighting cars. The show follows Mackie as a milkman with amnesia, who finds himself on the road in a post-apocalyptic America to deliver a mysterious package. Season 2 has more action, with the characters involved in a dangerous and action-packed tournament.

Perfect Match (Netflix)

"Perfect Match" is back for a third season, gathering some of Netflix's reality TV shows' most famous singles into one house, where new couples spring up per episode.

My Oxford Year (Netflix)

Sofia Carson's Netflix partnership continues with "My Oxford Year," a romance film following an American student in the UK, where she falls in love with her alluring yet unavailable poetry teacher.

American Pie (Netflix)

Netflix has some classics available, including "American Pie" and its sequel. The movies, while dumb, are a late '90s and early aughts time capsule, featuring some of the most talented actors of their generation, and some wild humor that would not be allowed in today's movies.

Thirteen (Netflix)

Before Catherine Hardwicke directed "Twilight" and Evan Rachel Wood became one of the most talented and revered actresses of her generation, there was "Thirteen." Proudly independent and still poignant, the film follows a teenage girl during one of the most volatile times in a person's life.

Lollapalooza (Hulu)

Lastly, if you want to watch a cool festival from the comfort of your couch, Lollapalooza is streaming all through the weekend on Hulu. This year features performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Doechii, Clairo, Rufus Du Sol, Young Miko, and more.
