The 2025 edition of the Cannes Film Festival is underway. This year, you can expect a little bit of everything to come out of this batch of movies: directorial debuts from seasoned actors, the premiere of one of Hollywood's largest and most anticipated blockbusters, screen debuts from exciting young talent, and seasoned Cannes directors who are returning to the big screen.

Here are the 10 movies premiering at Cannes that we can't wait to see this year:

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

While the film is out of the Cannes competition, the "Mission: Impossible" franchise is premiering the end of one of its most significant chapters at the festival. The franchise, which is Tom Cruise's darling, is an important part of American cinema and history, and has many fans of all ages waiting excitedly to see what Cruise cooks up next.

The Chronology of Water

"The Chronology of Water" marks Kristen Stewart's directorial debut. Based on Lidia Yuknavitch's memoir of the same name, the film stars Imogen Poots in the lead role as she escapes an abusive home thanks to a swimming scholarship, following her through the ups and downs of her life.

Honey Don't

Starring Margaret Qualley, Chris Evans, and Aubrey Plaza, "Honey Don't" follows a private investigator looking into a series of murders connected to a church pastor.

The Phoenician Scheme
