Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon have a friendship that dates back decades. The two actors were photographed meeting for dinner in New York, with the two joined by Luciana Barroso, Damon's wife, all wearing matching black outfits.
The trio was photographed on the way to The Corner Store, an upscale restaurant located in SoHo. For the occasion, Hemsworth wore a primarily black outfit made up of pants, a leather jacket, and a white t-shirt. He shielded his face from the cameras with a black cap and completed the look with white sneakers.
He was seen signing some photographs and greeting fans following his dinner.
Damon and Barroso also wore black, with Damon wearing a zip-up hoodie and jeans. He was seen smiling towards Barroso, completing his outfit with black boots. In the case of Barroso, she wore a black sweater, black denim jeans, and a black belt. She's seen carrying a black puffer jacket and some cool black boots with brown tips.
A closer look at Hemsworth and Damon's friendship
Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon have one of the strongest Hollywood friendships. Even though the two have worked together sporadically, they've developed a friendship over the years, spending plenty of time with their wives, Elsa Pataky and Luciana Barroso.
Elsa Pataky has opened up about the group's friendship, including their many similarities.
"Chris has been a big fan of Matt Damon, me too, and then when I met his wife I’m even more of a fan of his wife,” said Pataky in to PEOPLE. “They are such amazing people. We have three kids, they have four kids, so we ended up making the same plans because everything we do we do with our kids, so it’s easier to do things with people that understand you.”
She also made it clear that their Spanish heritage makes their friendship even closer. “And his wife is Argentinian, so we speak Spanish,” she continued. “So for me, it’s a relief, yes, somebody I can speak Spanish with! We’ve become very good friends.” The groups have gone on to attend events together and even take family vacations in locations like Australia, Montana, and Spain.
