Tom Brady's single era has everybody watching, and fans are eager to know what his lifestyle is like. The 48-year-old retired NFL star keeps his romances private unless he's snapped by paparazzi, but his good friend and former teammate Rob Gronkowski just shared some details about his life as a bachelor.
Gronkowski made an appearance on “Today” on Thursday, where he was asked which version of Brady is more fun, single Tom Brady or “married Tom Brady."
Just happy to be there, the retired tight end didn't think twice, "Definitely single Tom Brady,” he answered. But Gronk said "the problem" is that they "flipped the script." "I was single when I first got into the league, and Tom was married," he explained.
Gronk joined the Patriots in 2010 after Brady and Gisele Bündchen had already said "I do" in February 2009, and apparently, the quarterback wasn't going out with his single teammates. “I was like, ‘Hey, this guy’s lame. He’ll never go out with me," he recalled.
The former NFL star then painted Brady as a bit of a party boy by saying, "Wow. Now he’s going out every weekend, and I’m at home with my girl," referring to Camille Kostek.
His statements come after Brady told PEOPLE he doesn't have much time for a personal life. “You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working, and I love my kids,” Brady said.
Tom Brady's single life
While Brady might be sending Gronk a text about talking about his single life on national television, he has been making some headlines on his own.
Brady went viral earlier this month when video clips circulated of him getting touchy-feely with newly single Alix Earle on New Year's Eve. It was later reported that it was their first time meeting, and there was no hookup, just flirting.
Earlier this week, a source told Us Weekly that he and the influencer have "still been texting" since they met. The insider said they also "briefly met" at the College Football National Championship in Miami last Monday, but it wasn't planned.
Then there have always been rumors about him and Irina Shayk, pointing to an on-and-off fling.
They made headlines together as recently as December when an insider told Daily Mail that they were in a "situationship." "They're not looking for anything serious or to go exclusive. They find time to be with each other when they can, and that's that," they told the outlet.
In 2025, he briefly made headlines with Sofia Vergara about a "summer fling. However, things turned chaotic when a source said she was too old for him. The source denied it completely, calling it "ridiculous."
