Sydney Sweeney may have been shut out of awards season so far, but she still made sure all eyes were on her at a Golden Globes pre-party Friday night.
The 28-year-old Euphoria star stepped onto the red carpet at the buzzy event co-hosted by Variety and the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, turning heads with a bold fashion moment despite her recent run of nomination snubs.
Also in attendance were fellow actresses Teyana Taylor of One Battle After Another and Kate Hudson, who stars in Song Sung Blue. Both women are up for trophies at the 2026 ceremony.
Sweeney showed off her figure in a revealing one-shoulder black dress that highlighted her bust and flaunted her toned legs. She boosted her 5-foot-2 frame with black peep-toe heels.
For beauty, the actress wore her chin-length blonde hair in loose waves and went for a bronzed, sun-kissed makeup look. Soft liner emphasized her blue eyes, while a nude-pink lipstick completed the ensemble.
After striking poses for photographers, Sweeney headed inside to socialize with other A-list attendees.
Although she released four movies over the past year — including the November box office disappointment Christy — Sweeney came up empty at the Critics Choice Awards, SAG Awards, and the upcoming Golden Globes, set to air Sunday.
The Euphoria star wasn't nominated for her role in Christy, based on the life of trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, which came out in November 2025. While the movie, which grossed only $2 million worldwide, received mixed reviews, the actress has still been praised for her performance.
Still, her recent thriller The Housemaid has been a major financial success. The Amanda Seyfried–led film, adapted from Frieda McFadden’s best-selling novel, debuted just before Christmas and has already pulled in an estimated $145 million worldwide in only three weeks.
