Gwyneth Paltrow’s perfectly curated Saturday kitchen videos have become a fan favorite. The actress calls the series “Boyfriend Breakfasts,” where she preps a chic, Goop-style brunch for husband Brad Falchuk while modeling enviable pajamas. This week, however, the spotlight was shared — her daughter Apple Martin joined in.
The clip opens with the mother-daughter duo embracing in the kitchen while wearing nearly identical PJ sets. Paltrow sported a long-pant version trimmed with white piping, while Martin opted for the short set. Both wore their blonde hair loose and skipped makeup for the cozy cooking moment.
Paltrow then took over the stove, transforming leftovers into “leftover stuffing waffles,” topped with an oversized fried egg.
Apple’s cameo follows another twinning moment just before Christmas, when Paltrow posted a selfie of the two dressed in coordinating black outfits backstage during her Marty Supreme press tour. A few days earlier, Martin accompanied her mom to the New York City premiere of the film — and turned heads by rewearing Paltrow’s iconic black Calvin Klein little black dress from the 1996 Emma premiere.
The fashion crossover is no fluke. Earlier this year, Martin revealed to Interview Magazine that her “absolute favorite stuff is her old Calvin Klein from the ’90s.” She added, "Going into her archive closet is just heaven on earth."
Now appearing alongside her mom in a new GapStudio campaign, Martin says she doesn’t take the opportunity lightly.
"I constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have these opportunities," she recently told The Telegraph. “I know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means."
She continued, "My parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn’t be entitled to anything. I have to work.”
