Tom Brady appeared to share a subtle message on social media following news of his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s marriage to Joaquim Valente.
Just days after Bündchen appeared to show off a wedding ring while attending a red-carpet event in São Paulo, Brazil, on December 18, the retired NFL star offered a glimpse into his mindset.
The former New England Patriots quarterback, 48, posted a cryptic Instagram Stories update on Dec. 20, sharing a close-up photo of himself in a white hoodie emblazoned with the words “Forever Young.” Brady—who shares son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13, with Bündchen, and is also dad to son Jack, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan—appeared to lean into the sentiment.
He punctuated the image with a brief caption, writing, “Yuppppppp.”
However, it was the music accompanying the post that drew the most attention. Brady set the photo to Logic’s 2017 track “1-800-273-8255,” a song widely recognized for its focus on mental health.
Lyrics heard in the post include, “I've been on the low, I been taking my time / I feel like I'm out of my mind / It feel like my life ain't mine (Who can relate? Woo).”
Three years after Brady and Bündchen finalized their divorce, the supermodel—who welcomed her first child with Valente in February—married the jiu-jitsu instructor, 38, on Dec. 3 in Surfside, Fla., according to marriage records obtained by E! News.
Bündchen and Valente began dating in June 2023, several months after her 13-year marriage officially ended. Speaking about the relationship in a 2024 interview with The New York Times, Bündchen highlighted how different this partnership feels.
"This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she said. "It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent."
Though the couple largely keeps their relationship private, Bündchen has occasionally shared insight into their life together. In May, she spoke to Vogue France about adjusting to motherhood once again.
"Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I'm regaining control of my schedule," she said. "As every new mom knows, it's incredible how much sleep, or lack thereof, can change everything! But again, I feel truly grateful: being able to be home with my children and enjoy every moment with them is priceless."
