Paltrow and Elordi were paired together for Variety's Actors on Actors, with the two discussing their careers and their work. As the conversation kicked off, Paltrow shared how important Elordi is to their household.

"It’s so nice to be here talking to you. My children are very jealous," she said. Then, she revealed that both of her kids, Apple and Moses, whom she shares with her ex Chris Martin, are big fans of Elordi. "My son looks up to you; my daughter is in love with you. I probably will be too, by the end of this," she said.

Elordi laughed, saying, "Well, that’s the thing you always get. Every person says, 'Oh, my mom loves you. My daughter loves you. My girlfriend loves you.' It’s never, 'I love you.'"

Paltrow had the perfect reply. "I love you, Jacob." She then shared that she'd first seen his work on the hit series "Euphoria," revealing that she loved his performance.

Paltrow is currently promoting her latest film, "Marty Supreme," where she stars alongside Timothee Chalamet

She plays one of his love interests and was photographed kissing him on set last year. The images quickly went viral, prompting two vastly different reactions from her kids.

"I mean, my daughter's so cool and so punk rock that she's like, 'Mom, this is awesome!' And my son was like, 'Oh my God, I don't want to see this,' " she said. "He was kind of mortified."

Still, both of her kids are excited to see the film. "They're grown up and they can make this separation," she said, between her real life and her life as an actress.

Paltrow shared that while she's been an actress for most of her life, her kids still had issues seeing her role out in the world.  "I'm sure they'll gag when I'm having a make-out scene, of course. But it's funny, they haven't really seen me in movies. Historically, they like me home, as Mom, and they don't like to engage with the outside perspective of who I am," she said.
