The long-awaited day finally arrived, and a diverse group of celebrities and notable figures gathered at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami for the inaugural Latina Powerhouse Top 100 gala. This evening was particularly meaningful for Nadia Ferreira, as she was not only one of the inspiring Latinas featured on the annual Latina Powerhouse Top 100 list but also one of the event's hosts.
Moments before the ceremony began, the Paraguayan model expressed her excitement and honor at being part of the gala, which paid tribute to the legendary Chita Rivera.
“I am so happy to host Latina Powerhouse 2025. For me, it’s a huge responsibility above all else,” Nadia admitted shortly before the gala started. The former beauty queen, who has already shown her hosting skills at major award shows, shone at this highly anticipated inaugural event wearing a stunning strapless magenta dress with a silhouette that subtly nodded to the past.
Nadia expressed her affection for our publication and her gratitude for being included among the outstanding women in the Latina Powerhouse Top 100. “I feel happy and grateful to my ¡HOLA! family for this great opportunity to be onstage also as a Latina Powerhouse. I’m among these wonderful women whom I admire so much, so it’s a real honor,” she shared.
Of course, the Paraguayan beauty remembered Chita Rivera, the pioneering Latina on Broadway and recipient of the 2025 Latina Powerhouse Honorary Mention. “This whole event is a tribute in memory of Chita Rivera, an icon for us. Her music, her art… She was the first Latina who truly opened the doors of Broadway for us,” she added. “So imagine, we’ll be celebrating her legacy and everything this great woman represents,” she said.
Nadia gets ready to end her 2025 on a high note
Nadia Ferreira couldn’t help expressing the deep gratitude she feels for a fabulous year filled with achievements and unforgettable moments. “I’m incredibly grateful because this 2025 has been wonderful for me. I’ve discovered new sides of myself, like hosting, for example, with the award shows I presented this year, and of course Latina Powerhouse — tonight’s gala has been amazing,” the model shared.
During the evening, Nadia mentioned two great loves: her husband Marc Anthony and her son Marquito, who surely feel proud of the impeccable job she delivered. “So I’ll be ending the year in the best way, with my family, whom I adore and who are the most important thing to me: my little boy, my husband, my mother,” she said, also highlighting Mrs. Ludy Ferreira. “I’m very happy and obviously hoping that 2026 will be even better — though the bar is pretty high, because 2025 has been wonderful for me,” she concluded.
