Nick Cannon kicked off December the only way a dad of twelve truly can: by unleashing a full-strength holiday photo drop on Instagram. The photos, posted Monday, Dec. 1, show the entertainer posing with a handful of his children in front of twinkling Christmas trees. Cannon’s smile was wide, the vibes were festive, and at least one pic featured the family making silly faces.
Cannon’s 14-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with Mariah Carey, didn’t waste a single second turning the comment section into a comedy lounge.
Moroccan joked, “Finna be white this winter, man,” clearly expecting a snowstorm of presents to hit the house any day now. Monroe chimed in, dropping a gif of Buddy the Elf shouting, “Santa’s Coming!”
Meet the Holiday Squad
The photos featured a handful of Cannon’s younger kids. Cannon shares Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell. Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, plus daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, with Abby De La Rosa.
Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi, Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole. And with Alyssa Scott, daughter Halo Marie, and son Zen, who tragically passed away in 2021.
Monroe Sets the Record Straight
A couple of weeks earlier, on Nov. 13, Monroe hopped on social media for a quick myth-busting moment. She clarified that she has only one full sibling, Moroccan, explaining that the rest are her younger half-siblings from her dad’s side.
Monroe and Moroccan, born in 2011, are Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins from their whirlwind romance. The couple met, fell for each other fast, and secretly married in 2008 during a beachy Bahamas ceremony. The twins arrived three years later, becoming instant fan favorites and the unofficial co-stars of many Carey holiday specials.
Back in March, Cannon said he learns something new every day from his kids. "I learn compassion more than anything, though," he explained, adding that he's also learning "to be more of a vessel" for his kids, although he doesn't have all the answers. "When it comes to this, I'm learning every single day, and my kids are the best teachers. And, really everything that I am offering up to them, I feel like it's just God working through me."
The man hosts TV shows, creates franchises, and apparently manages holiday photo shoots with twelve children, but like any parent, he’s figuring it out as he goes.
