Malia Obama knows how to dress for fall. The eldest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama was photographed in Los Angeles, spending time with a friend as she showcased an outfit that takes advantage of the cozy weather.
While Los Angeles isn't known for its chilly climate, as the fall season kicks off, the city's weather has had days of under 60°F, encouraging residents to dust out their sweaters from their closet.
Malia was photographed earlier this week while on a walk with a friend, wearing a stylish and cozy outfit made up of a sweater and some denim overalls. She completed the look with dark tights and some knee-length burgundy leather boots, giving the look a stylish yet informal edge.
She completed the look with a colorful tote bag, and with her hair styled in a high bun, showcasing its red color, a hairstyle that Malia clearly enjoys and has been using for the past couple of years.
Her friend also showcased her style, wearing flared pants with black and white patterns on them, a cream colored sweater, and a black trench coat on top. She added some color by completing the look with some burgundy boots and a blue cap.

In October of this year, Malia and Sasha Obama were some of the guests at Stella Banderas' wedding, hosted in Spain and welcoming a string of notorious celebrities and influencers.
Stella's wedding made for a unique and special occasion, taking place at the Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine, a 12th-century monastery turned luxury hotel and winery in the small town of Sardón del Duero, Valladolid.
Malia and Sasha are based in Los Angeles, with the former working on Hollywood productions and TV shows, developing her connections to the industry over the years. It's unknown how the sisters became friends with Stella, but the latter is also based in Los Angeles and moves in the spaces of culture and the arts in the city, making it likely for the three to have met up and developed a friendship at some point over the past couple of years. The three are also within the same age group, with Stella being 29, Malia being 27, and Sasha being 24.
