Gwyneth Paltrow gave followers a peek into how she starts her day, posting a rare bare-faced selfie on Friday that highlighted her natural look.

The 53-year-old Oscar winner — who recently opened up about her mental health journey — shared the photo on her Instagram Stories while wearing under-eye masks. She began her calm morning using the Lift + Depuff eye masks from her Goop Beauty line, which retail for $125 for a pack of 30, per the brand’s site.

The actress skipped all makeup for the snap and pulled her blonde hair back into a simple updo. She has previously detailed what her early hours look like, revealing several habits she sticks to each day, including tongue scraping.

In a video posted in October, the Iron Man star appeared in a plush white robe, standing in a spacious bathroom as she walked viewers through her steps. After scraping her tongue with a copper tool, she pops a packet into her mouth for “oil pulling.”

The practice is “an ancient Indian folk remedy claimed to whiten your teeth, freshen your breath, and greatly improve your oral health,” according to Healthline.

From there, Paltrow moves on to skincare: cleansing her face with a Goop cleanser, then applying a Peptide Serum from the brand for extra radiance. She follows it with an “all-in-one moisturizer” and finishes with Goop face oil, which she has described as “liquid gold.”

Paltrow has frequently discussed her perspective on beauty and aging. In a September interview with Coveteur, she reflected on how time shapes her perspective.

“I think the older you get and the more quickly time passes, you realize how fleeting everything is and how valuable time is,” Paltrow told the outlet. “And think for me anyway, you know, it's sort of like this deepening of my life is happening in terms of slowing down a bit.”

She continued, “There's all of the wonderful freedoms that happen to you when you turn 50 and you're just sort of like, I want to live the rest of my life on my own terms and bring in the sweetness and the richness of the things that I want around me.”

The Goop founder added that she’s “trying to be very in tune with where my body and mind are at any given time.

“When I was in my 20s, I was terrible with skincare and all that stuff. I would just go to bed with last night's makeup on...Now, I feel like I align with the idea of really aging in the best, most empowering way possible, which requires some attention and taking care of your skin and taking care of your mind and your body.”
