Wen is known for sneaking into celebrity events and making headlines. Last June, he jumped on stage in front of a startled Katy Perry, and in August, he stormed The Weeknd’s concert before security quickly removed him from the stage.

Erivo’s quick reaction was instinctive and prevented the situation from escalating further. Fans on social media applauded her actions, praising her reflexes and concern for Ariana.

Grande and Erivo lead the cast of the film. The Singapore premiere was one of the most highly anticipated events for fans in Asia. This incident, however, highlights the ongoing need to strengthen security at high-profile events, as online users and celebrities showed their concern for Ariana on social media.
