Elsa Pataky is super proud of her daughter. The Spanish actress recently shared some photos of her daughter India, showing off some of her rare and cool skills.
In a post shared on Instagram, Pataky shared a look at one of India's passions: motorcycles. The photos show India practicing motocross, showing off her skills atop a green bike.
India is seen in the photos completing some jumps atop her bike on the dirt road, with her hair flowing behind her under her black and neon helmet. India completed her look with a pink and blue long-sleeve shirt, matching pants, and some cycling boots.
It looks as if India is in the woods, with multiple trees in the background. Pataky captioned the post with pride: "My daughter just being radical!" she wrote, adding a heart emoji and tagging various related accounts, including Girls Ride and Throttle Girls, two social media sites that promote girls participating in motorcycle sports.
India's deep interest in sports and activities
India is clearly her parents' daughter. The eldest child of Chris Hemsworth and Pataky has cultivated some of the same interests that her parents have, including her love of horseback riding and motorcycles, two activities that she learned from her mother.
Pataky loves motorcycles, with Hemsworth revealing that one of the reasons why he was so interested in her during their first date was the fact that she arrived driving a motorcycle. “She turned up on a motorcycle … and I thought, ‘Oh cool, she’s adventurous,'" shared Hemsworth in "The Drew Barrymore Show."
When it comes to horses, India and Pataky have bonded over their love of the sport throughout the past years, with Pataky going on horseback riding trips with her daughter, including a safari where the two rode horses alongside a group of horseback riders in Namibia. "We rode on average 40 kilometres a day, a total of 320 kilometres, our final destination the wild Skeleton Coast. Days were filled with never ending gallops, hikes up canyons, sleeping out under the stars and spotting desert oryx, zebra and chameleons," wrote Pataky on her post's caption, which featured multiple stunning photos and videos.
In a Vogue Australia interview from 2022, Pataky revealed that her passion for horseback riding even got in the way of her acting jobs. “Horses are just so addictive. It has got to the point when I’m offered a work project, I think, ‘Hang on, this means I can’t ride for a month,’" she said. "Before I had to think how an acting role would fit in with my kids. Now I need to think how it fits in with the kids and the horses!”
