Benson Boone just gave his fans something to talk about!

The “Beautiful Things” singer turned heads on Wednesday, Oct. 29, after sharing a shirtless gym photo on Instagram while in Glasgow, Scotland, for his American Heart Tour.

In the post, Boone posed in front of a mirror alongside his friend Dawson Wills, showing off his defined abs and muscular frame. The singer hiked up his shorts slightly, revealing his toned legs, causing fans to flood the comments section in awe.

“Cutie and also Greek god,” one fan gushed, while another wrote, “The body in that gym pic sheesshh 😍😍🔥🔥.”

A third follower added, “Those abs and legs belong in the Louvre,” and another joked, “Benson I didn’t know you were built like that 🔥🔥🔥.”

While the compliments rolled in, Boone has been candid in the past about his complicated relationship with body image. In a March interview with Rolling Stone, the artist reflected on how his perception of himself has evolved since his rise to fame.

“I definitely remember there was a time where I would take my shirt off because I didn’t know what else to do,” he admitted. “After doing a lot of shows, you start to pick up on what people like and don’t like, what girls like and don’t like. There is an art to making anybody go crazy.”

Still, Boone said he doesn’t want his shows to be centered around his physique. “I don’t want people coming to a concert expecting me to just take my shirt off and it to be like a gun show,” he explained. “One, I don’t have the guns for that. Two, that’s just not what I’m about.… I don’t want to rely on my physical form to be the primary driver of my shows.”

Although he continues to work out regularly, the singer admitted that it can be mentally taxing to constantly think about his appearance.

“Because I’m so incredibly hard on myself, and when I start to think about my appearance too much, it just kills me because there’s always something more I could do," Boone said. "There’s always a hairstyle or, like, my arms could be bigger. My shoulders could be bigger. It’s never-ending. I can’t afford to think that way because I will never be happy if I do think that way."

He added, “Obviously, like, I enjoy working out and I want to keep my physical shape because I need to. But I can’t be the sex icon of the century, just because that’s not who I am.”
