The Argentine singer Cazzu is finally breaking her silence about how she learned of the relationship between her ex-partner, Christian Nodal, and his now-wife, Ángela Aguilar. In a recent interview, she spoke candidly about the breakup, the rumors of infidelity, and how she’s navigating life as a mom to their daughter, Inti.

Though she’s moved on professionally and emotionally, Cazzu admitted feeling hurt after Nodal gave an interview to journalist Adela Micha, where he shared his version of their separation and discussed personal matters. Currently touring Mexico with her "Latinaje" concert series, the singer said she’s focused on her music and motherhood, even as her ex reaches out to see their daughter.

Nodal Wants to See His Daughter

Speaking to the press at the Mexico City airport, Cazzu explained how she obtained permission from a judge to travel abroad with Inti — something she said Nodal previously tried to prevent. “It’s a unilateral permit we requested from the court because I can prove I need to travel. The judge granted it to me,” she said, as reported by journalist Edén Dorantes on YouTube.

Cazzu added that Nodal’s legal team recently contacted her to arrange a visit. “His lawyer reached out to ask if he could see her, and as always, I said yes. Whether it happens or not, we’ll see,” she explained. Despite the complications, she emphasized her commitment to always being there for her daughter.

Her Take on Nodal’s Controversial Interview

When asked about Nodal’s interview with Adela Micha, in which he detailed his side of the breakup, Cazzu made it clear she wouldn’t do the same. “No, not really. When you share years of your life with someone, you also share a lot with their family. That’s what hurt me most. I shared so much intimacy, and then to see that story told in such a distorted way, it confuses people. I would never speak about his family or our relationship. I keep the good memories. I loved him very much,” she said sincerely.

“He Told Me He Was with Someone Else”

Cazzu also addressed the swirling rumors that Nodal cheated on her while she was pregnant. Without confirming or denying, she revealed, “He told me he was with someone exactly one day before the photos came out. But it’s not like I was still involved at that point. I don’t know, and honestly, I don’t care. If someone had been unfaithful to me, it wouldn’t have been the first time. I’m very loyal, and I believe in loyalty. It’d be nice if people didn’t do that, but honestly, this is the last thing I want to say about this. We’re all just reflections of real-life situations.”

Cazzu is now centered on her role as a mother and on building a stable, loving environment for Inti. When asked if she talks to her daughter about her father or shows her pictures of him, she responded, “No, that’s not my place. My job is to be her mom. Whoever wants to be in her life is welcome. My job is just to show her what’s real.”

Ending on a note of peace, she said, “From now on, the only thing that matters to me is building my daughter’s life. Everything else, what happened, what didn’t, honestly, hand on heart, I don’t care anymore.”
