Last night was the MTV Video Music Awards, and the stars were in New York for one of the biggest nights in entertainment. Ahead of the event was the red carpet, and many celebrity couples arrived dressed to impress to pose for photos and show off their love. Among those was Travis Barker's son, Landon, who made his red carpet debut with his new girlfriend, Skyla Sanders.
The 21-year-old singer and the 20-year-old college student and model arrived in matching black outfits. Landon wore a tailored suit without a shirt, showing off his tattooed chest. Skyla rocked a body-con strapless dress with sheer panels along the hips that showed off her physique. She rocked black mule heels with fur and kept accessories light, wearing a gold necklace, ring, and stud earrings.
They gave the carpet a little PDA moment, sharing a big smooch for the flashing cameras. It marks Landon's first big relationship since he called it quits with Charli D'Amelio in February 2024.
Landon and Skyla went Instagram official earlier this year in May, debuting ink dedicated to her in the process. He captioned a gallery of photos, "The inhale when you let it in!" and the first photo was them embracing with him giving her a kiss on her forehead. The last slide is of her name, "Skyla," tattooed on his wrist.
In the comments was his dad, Travis, who left a black heart, and his stepmom, Kourtney Kardashian, who wrote, "cuties" with two oranges and a black heart emoji.
Fans couldn’t help but notice a trend, though. "Bro he gets tattoos of his girls 3 months in," reads the top liked comment. When the artist was dating Charli, he got a realistic tattoo of her eye on his arm after losing to her in a game of rock, paper, scissors.
The tattoo is still there, but he added text over it.
Who is Skyla?
Skyla is a student at New York University, but is also a child of the industry. Her mom is model and actress Liberty Ross, and her dad is director Rupert Sanders. He's known for directing Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Ghost in the Shell (2017), and The Crow (2024). Her parents divorced in 2013 after his highly publicized affair scandal with Kristen Stewart.
She has 57k followers on Instagram and is represented by New York Model Management. Her page is filled with selfies, bikini moments, vacation pictures, and Landon is always in the comments hyping her up.
He's not the only one showing her love, though. His family is there too, and it looks like she has their approval. His sister Alabama Barker, Atiana De La Hoya, and his mom Shanna Moakler have all left sweet comments calling her beautiful.
Time will tell if we will see him getting another tattoo covered up one day.
