The girls even completed their looks with matching bows in their hair, flashing huge smiles into the camera as they posed alongside their mom.

But beyond their sweet matching looks, Kobe’s daughters lit up the moment with endearing facial expressions, from curious peeks through binoculars to wide-eyed wonder to a hint of boredom. The two young Bryants stood out and, like their mom, won our hearts.

Just a few months ago, on June 20, the wife of the late NBA star Kobe Bryant shared several pictures on Instagram to commemorate Capri's 6th birthday. Bryant began the sweet post with a picture of the 6-year-old on her birthday wearing a purple "Birthday Girl" shirt paired with a white skirt. The proud mom rounded out her tribute by sharing recent snaps of them posing together.

"Capri, we love you so much!!!! Happy 6th birthday to my sweet Koko Bean! 💜~ Capri Kobe Bryant ~💜 🎂🎉🫶🏽🎉" she wrote in the caption.

Vanessa and Kobe first became when their daughter Natalia, 22, was born in January 2003. During their relationship, the couple expanded their family with three more girls: including Gianna, who tragically died in a helicopter crash with her father in 2020.

Throughout his life, Kobe was always proud of his role as a girl dad, constantly talking about his role in the lives of his four daughters. During an interview with Extra in 2017, the Los Angeles Lakers legend opened up about the jokes his teammates would give him about not being able to have a son.

“Guys keep teasing me,” he told the outlet in 2017. “My friends say, ‘It takes a real man to make a boy.' I’m like, ‘Dude, it takes a king to make a princess.’ "

The late basketball star also revealed that he taught his "little princesses" the value of hard work.

“It’s not the destination, it’s the journey,” Kobe said at his retirement ceremony in 2017. “And if you guys can understand that, then what you’ll see is you won’t accomplish your dreams. Your dreams won’t come true. Something greater will, and if you guys can understand that, then I’m doing my job as a father.”
