Amal Clooney has never needed a reason to turn heads. But when she stepped onto the red carpet at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, she didn’t just steal the spotlight, but possibly started a new fall trend.
Created by celebrity hairstylist and colorist Dimitris Giannetos, Clooney’s new pecan-pie hairstyle was part of what he called the “Portofino Glam” look, a nod to sun-drenched Italian coastlines and late-summer luxury.
The rich, warm brunette tones, layered with golden dimension, looked absolutely stunning. “I kept Amal’s hair color warm, with a beautiful pecan pie hair color,” Giannetos said. “We added fresh, summery Italian-inspired waves. The waves really accentuate her beautiful hair color.”
Beyond the fall look, Giannetos delivered a full glam experience for Clooney’s appearance at the 'Jay Kelly' premiere. He doubled as her makeup artist for the evening, crafting a soft, shimmering look that perfectly complemented her showstopping fuchsia dress.
“I wanted to keep Amal’s makeup fresh with a hint of pink and shimmer,” he shared. But beauty wasn’t the only thing Clooney brought to Venice. Alongside her husband, George Clooney, the international human rights attorney delivered a jaw-dropping red carpet moment.
The couple attended the premiere of George’s latest film and proved they are a Hollywood power couple. Amal stunned in a strapless, fuchsia mini dress with a dramatic train. Meanwhile, George, 64, looked sharp in a classic tuxedo. He even kissed her hand in front of the cameras, showing his love for her.
The 'Jay Kelly' premiere was the perfect moment following a glamorous summer for the couple. Back in May, Amal represented both of them at the Cannes premiere of 'Bono: Stories of Surrender' while George finished a 13-week Broadway run of 'Good Night, and Good Luck' (March 12–June 8).
On June 26, the Clooneys made a regal appearance at The King’s Trust Awards in London, with George in a navy suit and Amal in a white halter gown. And just weeks later, they hosted a private soirée for their Clooney Foundation for Justice guests at their Italian estate, Villa Oleandra.
Their Venice arrival on August 26 was another cinematic moment, with Amal wearing a sunshine-yellow Balmain 2026 resort dress.
