The Cyrus family has been in the spotlight for decades, with some good and some bad headlines. For the last year, there have been reports of a feud from all angles of the famous family, but Noah Cyrus is making it clear that nothing can pull them apart.

The Cyrus family has music keeping them strong

Noah is going on tour for her album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go, and is this month's PEOPLE digital cover story. The 25-year-old Grammy-nominated singer shared an update on how they're all doing: “Everybody's great and loves each other."

Reports swirled last year that Noah and her mom, Tish Cyrus, were at odds over Dominic Purcell, who Tish went on to marry in 2023. Some outlets even claimed Noah and her mom had both been romantically linked to him at different times, which only fueled speculation about family tension.

Then there was the rift between Miley Cyrus and their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, after his split from Tish and whirlwind romance with singer Firerose. But chaos aside, Noah said, "At the end of the day, this is a family, and that’s really it: just going through normal family stuff."

The Cyrus family was making headlines with their feud

With the world whispering about your family situation, Noah said she keeps herself "quite separated from any interest or ‘drama’ with the family." “The one thing that's connected us with the entire world is music, and that's what's the most important to us," she said, admitting,  "emotionally it's draining, but it doesn't hurt us or touch us."

That sentiment was also front and center earlier this year when Noah and her mom, Tish, returned to their podcast Sorry We’re Cyrus on April 17. The mother-daughter duo dove into everything from weddings to rediscovering themselves, with Noah admitting she’s always looked up to her mom’s approach to life and relationships.

Noah even joked about how often she still calls her mom in tears: “We still need our mommy so bad… how many times a week do you answer the phone and I’m crying? A lot.”

And while headlines have painted a picture of feuds and rifts, Noah says real life looks different. Her fiancé, Pinkus, whom she got engaged to in June 2023, has become close with Tish, too. “It’s really cute because my fiancé and my mom are really close,” Noah shared. “I love that so much because my past boyfriends, my mom has not been close with. Now I’m with a nice, little German man.”

Billy Ray and Miley's relationship has been a rollercoaster

When it comes to Miley, she and her dad began reconciling earlier this year. She told The New York Times in an interview published May 31, "I'm being an adult about it." "Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too—I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing," she explained.

What about Trace Cyrus?

There is one sibling that may still have some feelings about everything, though: Trace Cyrus. As recently as June, the former Metro Station guitarist went on a brutal rant online about his dad, calling him "washed-up" and "pathetic" and slamming him for not going to his grandma's funeral. “Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded, then he still didn’t come even after the plane was paid for," he claimed.
