For Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, summer always includes two essential traditions, relaxing at their home in Mallorca and celebrating the birthday of their first child together, who now finds himself at an important moment in life.

Dylan was born on August 8, 2000, two years after his parents first met and fell in love at the Deauville Film Festival in France. He has been in the public eye since birth as part of one of Hollywood’s most iconic families, yet he grew up mostly out of the spotlight. Now, a new and surprising side of him has come to light, revealed through his mother’s touching birthday message.
