Cameron Diaz opted for the reliable double denim combination in her most recent outing

Diaz was photographed earlier this week, pairing a jean shirt with wide-legged denim pants, contrasting the fabric's colors. She was spotted with her hair held back in a bun and some large brown glasses.

She paired the look with white sneakers and a brown crossbody bag. She was spotted carrying various items in a large white plastic bag, likely carrying out some errands.

Diaz smiled at the paparazzi as she walked by them.

Diaz has a refreshing take on beauty standards

Over the past years, Cameron Diaz has spoken up about various issues that plague women in Hollywood, including the use of Botox.

In a 2014 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress revealed that she didn't like what Botox did to her face. "It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to be like that.' I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."

She said that she now embraces her laugh lines. "I love it. I don't mind. It's like, 'Guess what this means, I've smiled my whole life.' I love life. I'm happy I don't have a problem with that."

Diaz is outspoken about Hollywood beauty standards

In a more recent appearance on the podcast "Rule Breakers," Diaz opened up about her experience being victim to beauty standards, and how she doesn't follow those rules anymore.

“I am absolutely a victim of all of the societal objectification and exploitation that women are subjected to. I have bought into all of them myself at certain times,” she said. “It’s hard not to, it’s hard not to look at yourself and judge yourself against other markers of beauty, and I think that that’s one of the biggest things..."

"The last eight years, girl—I’m like wild. I’m like a wild animal, like a beast!" she said with a laugh.
