Lady Gaga was the latest artist to experience an onstage glitch. The actress and singer has been on tour over the past weeks, promoting her new record, "Mayhem." At her most recent show in Las Vegas, Gaga fell as she walked off the stage, quickly recovering and sparking some funny reactions online.
Gaga's fall was shared on X, by the account Gaga Crave. The moment shows Gaga getting offstage to greet some fans, a portion of her show that takes place during her performance of "Vanish Into You."
Instead of continuing her walk through the runway amidst her fans, as she's done in previous shows, Gaga tripped on the floor, prompting a quick reaction from her security. She quickly got back on her feet, showing that she wasn't injured.
"'Into the night we fall...' and she did," reads the post's caption, referencing the song's lyrics and Gaga's actions.
"Not her living the lyrics midperformance," wrote a second person.
"The cape HAS to go," wrote a third person, referencing Gaga's outfit which appears to have gotten in her way and prompted the fall.
Other viewers referenced the concert glitches that have occurred over the past weeks, including Beyonce hovering in the air in one of her show's props and Katy Perry almost experiencing a scary fall on tour.
"Why is everyone slipping? Just a mess," reads the comment.
More artists who have experienced scary moments
Over the past weeks, two of the world's leading artists have also experienced some scary moments onstage, this time, due to prop malfunctions. The first was Beyonce, who's been on tour on her "Cowboy Carter" tour. In one of the show's most striking moments, Beyonce rides a flying vehicle over the crowd, hovering over them. In her Houston show, the car tilted mid-air, prompting some fear from her fans. The car was safely lowered to the ground, and Beyonce was able to conclude her show without any delays, but the moment was cut from future performances.
In the case of Katy Perry, fans recorded her as she flew atop a large silver butterfly while performing her song "Roar." As she sang and hovered over the air, the prop rapidly dropped, causing her to pause the song and hold on tightly to the prop. After the prop was balanced out, she continued the song and her performance.
