In a recent social media post, the 60-year-old star stood poised in a toffee-hued string bikini with gold chain accents, which is one of her own designs from the Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection. Looking away from the camera with her signature brunette hair falling over her shoulders, Hurley served up both style and insider advice for her fans and followers.
“The secret to flattering bikini pics? BAN overhead sunlight ” she wrote in the caption adding a laughing emoji. “When shooting bikinis, sunrise or sunset are your best friends,” she added, sharing her appreciation for golden hour.
According to Hurley, timing is everything when it comes to a great beach snap. “We shot this at 7am… By 8am, I was lounging around in one of my equally flattering [Elizabeth Hurley Beach ] kaftans, feeling glamorous AND shielded from the lethal sun,” she added.
The post was a continuation of the actress’ playful social media presence, especially when it comes to celebrating bikini moments. Just days earlier on International Bikini Day (July 5), Hurley posted another stunning pic, this time from Greece, in a red top and leopard-print bottoms from her beachwear line.
“Every day of my life is bikini day … but somehow I missed posting for official International Bikini Day!!!” she wrote. Fans flooded her latest post with praise and agreement. “You always look amazing but good to know,” commented one follower, while another wrote, “True overhead lighting is a disaster.”
On June 10, Hurley marked a major milestone, her 60th birthday, with a bold nude photo shoot taken in a wildflower field. “Feeling very blessed and grateful for having the best friends & family in the world, pic taken this afternoon … in my birthday suit xxx,” she captioned the image, reflecting on a year packed with personal and professional highlights.
