Kourtney Kardashian is feeling all the emotions as her daughter Penelope Disick officially becomes a teenager. On July 8, the reality star and wellness mogul, 46, shared a series of sweet Instagram Stories from a family getaway in Italy to honor her daughter’s 13th birthday.
Alongside scenic views and glimpses of Penelope’s pink-hued cake topped with fresh berries, Kourtney reflected on motherhood, expressing that her “heart is exploding with gratitude and love” for her “sweet girl” who inspires her daily.
The milestone moment also carried deeper meaning, as Kourtney revealed the location was the same place her parents honeymooned nearly five decades ago.
The mom of four, who shares Penelope, Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, is clearly cherishing every moment of this new chapter.
Writing over a photo of a balcony view, she posted, “My daughter is 13 today. My heart is exploding with gratitude and love for her. I am so indescribably grateful for my sweet girl. She inspires me every day to be a better person.”
