Just days after the end of their nine-year relationship, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were spotted vacationing together on Jeff Bezos’ $500 million yacht, proving co-parenting can be glamorous. At the same time, others are wondering if the pair is getting back together after spending some time apart.
The former couple joined their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, on Italy’s Amalfi Coast this weekend, sharing family time aboard 'Koru,' Bezos' lavish vessel.
The singer, dressed in a black bikini with a matching cover-up, and the actor, in black swim trunks and a white T-shirt, were seen strolling through Capri with Daisy, enjoying ice cream along the marina.
At one point, Bloom lifted Daisy into the air, kissing her cheek as Perry watched, a sweet scene that emphasized their united front despite the split. This was their first public appearance together since confirming the breakup on July 3.
Their joint statement clarified the nature of their evolving relationship. "Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting," the statement read.
"They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter [Daisy Dove] with love, stability, and mutual respect."
The announcement followed weeks of speculation, with sources telling People that their relationship had been unraveling for months and that there was little hope of reconciliation. “It’s been breaking down the last couple of months and isn’t looking good,” one insider said. “They got to a point where they feel there is no going back to a healthy relationship.”
Despite the emotional backdrop, the former couple’s yacht outing comes as no surprise. They’ve long made family a priority and have vacationed with Bezos and Lauren Sánchez before. In 2023, the two couples, along with Usher, were seen together in Dubrovnik shortly after Bezos and Sánchez’s engagement.
While the actor attended Bezos’ lavish Venice wedding solo in late June, mingling with Kim Kardashian, Sydney Sweeney, and Kris Jenner, the singer was performing overseas as part of her 'Lifetimes Tour.' Some sources hinted she wasn’t thrilled about Bloom’s presence at the ceremony, especially given her close ties to the newlyweds.
