Kylie Jenner just made a surprising social media move that has fans talking. The reality star followed her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet on Instagram, marking a rare public gesture in their otherwise private two-year relationship.
The 27-year-old businesswoman now follows just 119 accounts on the app, and as of July 2, Timothée is one of them. While the “Dune” actor doesn’t follow her back. However, the actor famously follows no one on the app.
They made their red carpet debut attending the 70th David di Donatello ceremony in Rome together. It marked their most formal public appearance yet, with Kylie by Timothée’s side as he received the David for Cinematic Excellence honorary award.
The pair first sparked dating rumors back in April 2023, when Kylie’s Range Rover was spotted outside Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home. A day later, TMZ captured Timothée hopping into her SUV after an art event in Santa Monica, while her security team drove his car.
"They were hanging out and getting to know each other,” a People insider shared at the time. “They hang out every week but it’s not serious.” But things escalated quickly. Their first official appearance came five months later at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop in L.A., where they were spotted kissing in the VIP section.
A week after that, the couple packed on PDA again at the U.S. Open in New York. Since then, Jenner has supported Chalamet at major award events, including the Golden Globes in January and the Oscars in March. Despite their deepening bond, she attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $50 million Venice wedding solo last week.
Instead, Kylie brought her kids, Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, and was joined by her sisters Kim, Khloé, and Kendall Jenner, mom Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble.
Timothée’s mom, Nicole Flender, is a fan of Kylie’s. “I have to say she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me,” she said in an interview with New York Magazine in April 2025.
As for Kylie, she said her style has changed because of her new boyfriend. “That’s so funny, I’ve seen that before too, and I’m always like, first of all, the baddie never left,” she told Dazed. “I wear a latex dress at least once a week. Like, where do you guys think the baddie went?” she added.
