Suri Cruise is prepared to battle the summer heat. The daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was recently photographed in New York City, where she's spending her summer break. For the occasion, she wore a dark outfit that managed to skirt the hot summer weather.
Suri was spotted while out on a walk in the city, wearing a black tank top that she paired with grey joggers and black flip-flops.
She added a touch of color with a tote bag that had some flowers printed on it.
Suri looked like she was out carrying errands or moving quickly from one place to another, with her long brown hair held back in a ponytail. It is yet another instance that shows her laidback approach to fashion, and her nonchalant attitude towards the paparazzi in the city and their desire to keep an eye on her life.
Suri's life in Pennsylvania
Last year, Suri graduated from high school and shared her plans with the world to attend the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Over the past year, Suri has been away, returning to the city to spend breaks and special occasions with her mom.
A couple of weeks ago, she completed her freshman year of college and has been in the city enjoying her summer break, being spotted often walking around as she grabs some coffee and moves all over the city with ease.
Since Suri's high school graduation, her mother Katie Holmes has opened up about living without her daughter and how proud she is of all of her achievements. "I’m proud of my daughter. Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy," she said to Town & Country.
"I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that."
