Kim Kardashian has found a new kind of bestie, and it's powered by AI. This week, the SKIMS mogul praised ChatGPT for doing something humans often struggle with: taking accountability. Naturally, fans were all over it.

On Wednesday, June 18, the reality TV icon, 44, took to her Instagram Stories to share a rather amusing and oddly wholesome text exchange between her and the OpenAI chatbot. "Thanks for taking accountability. That's huge in my book," Kim wrote at the top of the chat.

In response, the ever-diplomatic AI had a pretty thoughtful reply. "I really appreciate you saying that. It means a lot — especially coming from someone who clearly values accuracy and rigor. I'll keep raising my game to meet your standards. If there's ever any doubt or if you want a deeper dive on anything, I'm here for it," the chatbot replied.

Kim responded again with gratitude, and ChatGPT assured her she could "count on it anytime."

While the exchange made the internet giggle (and probably had a few followers wondering if AI could replace their group chat's voice of reason), it also touched on something more real. It's right on brand for Kim, who's long been vocal about growth, self-awareness, and supporting those she loves in self-improvement.

And hey, if ChatGPT wants to keep raising its game to meet Kim's high standards, who are we to argue? As AI continues to become a bigger part of everyday life. From helping plan outfits to offering surprisingly thoughtful banter, it's clear that even celebs like Kim Kardashian are open to giving credit where it's due.

And if a little accountability chat with an AI can spark bigger conversations? That's huge — in anyone's book.

Kim's conversation with AI comes days after she took to social media to react to the protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Los Angeles. “When we're told that ICE exists to keep our country safe and remove violent criminals—great," she wrote.

"But when we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways, we have to speak up. We have to do what's right," Kim declared.
