Cazzu is opening up like never before about her brief romance with global superstar Bad Bunny - and it all started with a remix and a missed invitation.

In a new episode of the Patria y Familia podcast, the Argentine singer got candid about the first time she met Benito Martínez Ocasio, better known as Bad Bunny. The two artists initially crossed paths back when Bad Bunny joined Cazzu, Khea, and Duki on a remix of their hit “Loca” - a track that not only made waves across Latin America but also sparked a surprising connection behind the scenes.

According to Cazzu, the meeting took place at Luna Park in Buenos Aires during one of Bad Bunny’s shows. But what should have been a seamless collaboration nearly didn’t happen. “I found out last minute that we were invited to perform,” she said. “No one told me. Everyone else was there—except me. I started thinking, ‘This guy must not like me. Something’s off.’”

“We had a date—it actually went well,” she said on the Patria y Familia podcast

She admits she almost stayed home. “If I’m not invited, I don’t go,” she said bluntly. But then, out of the blue, she got a call. “I was walking down the street when someone—Bad Bunny—called me like, ‘Baby, where are you?’” she recalled. “I made it two songs before our part, and that’s when I finally met him. He’s a good person.”

Though she kept the details vague in the podcast, Cazzu had previously confirmed in a 2021 interview that she and Bad Bunny had a short-lived romance. “We had a date—it actually went well,” she said at the time. “But that was a different Bad Bunny. I don’t even remember his voice now.”

She added that they once snuck into a closed park in Palermo by hopping the fence, only to be kicked out by a security guard. “He didn’t understand why parks close in Argentina,” she laughed.

Now a mom and an international star in her own right, Cazzu has always been known for her honesty. Whether she’s talking motherhood, music, or past flames, she never shies away from telling it like it is - which is exactly why fans love her.
