Vanessa Bryant is tributing one of her husband's most important career moments. In various stories on Instagram, Vanessa reminisced about one of Kobe Bryant's biggest career wins, taking the Los Angeles Lakers to their 16th NBA championship win.
On Instagram, Vanessa shared photos of Kobe celebrating his fifth Lakers championship title. The image shows him smiling for the camera and holding on to the Championship trophy, as he holds up five fingers outstretched. He's wearing a white t-shirt that reads "2010 NBA Champions" and a matching black hat.
She also shared a photo of Kobe and herself standing next to the golden trophy, with their daughters Gigi and Natalia smiling widely and wearing adorable matching outfits. Vanessa wore yellow for the occasion, a tribute to the Lakers, whose colors are purple and yellow.
Through his years playing with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe won the NBA Championship five times, in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010.
Vanessa is celebrating her family's accomplishments
It's been a busy couple of weeks for Vanessa and her family. Earlier this week, she posted a tribute for Father's Day, commemorating Kobe as a father and sharing a beautiful family photo. "Happy Fathers Day," she captioned the post. "You are so missed. We love you so much." She added the hashtag Girl Dad, referencing Kobe's devotion to his daughters.
In May of this year, Vanessa celebrated a big milestone for her eldest daughter, Natalia, who graduated from the University of Southern California with Cum Laude honors. In a video shared online, Vanessa showed off Natalia's graduation stole, which revealed she graduated with a degree in Cinematic Arts.
"We're so proud of you!" wrote Vanessa in one of her captions.
The graduation stole also featured an emotional tribute to her parents and an inspirational motto for her future self. "Thank you Mom & Dad," it reads. "Fight on!"
