Gauff confined her relationship in a sweet video
In a video done in partnership with Bose, Gauff reacted to different sounds and messages from her loved ones, including the sound of a roaring crowd, a can of tennis balls being opened, messages from her parents, and a sweet 'I love you' from Sera.
"I just wanted to say you're the absolute coolest person ever," said Sera in the clip, prompting an immediate response from Gauff, who giggled and covered her mouth with her hand. "I'm so proud of you, you're doing great. And I love you," concludes the message.
Gauff laughed as the clip ended and said, "That's my boyfriend. And today is actually our two-year anniversary, so... that's very nice. Aw, he didn't tell me about that!"
Gauff and Sera have been involved in each other's lives for years
In an interview with TIME, Gauff revealed that she and Sera had known each other for a long time, with Sera being one of the students of Coco's mom, Candi Gauff.
“My mom always said, if they’re bad in school, they’re probably bad as adults. He’s always been a smart, nice kid,” said Gauff.
He's not involved in the tennis world
Gauff also revealed that Sera is not involved in the world of tennis, something that she appreciates. “This is my first real relationship. To just have someone to talk to who is not involved in tennis at all gives me a fresh perspective,” she said.
According to his social media, Sera is an Atlanta-based musician, often sharing videos of himself on his YouTube account playing various songs on the guitar.
