Miley Cyrus can't resist a subtle jab. The singer and actress has just released her new album, "Something Beautiful," hosting various listening parties and meet and greets with her fans. While signing one of her fans' records, Cyrus threw some shade at her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, who's been the subject of many of her love songs and heartbreak anthems.
Earlier this week, a fan shared the exchange on X, revealing that Cyrus signed his vinyl with a personalized message. His name is also Liam.
“Miley writing ‘the Best Liam’ on my vinyl," he wrote in the post, adding a crying emoji. The image shows a photo of Miley's new record with her signature, a heart, and the message.
He also shared a photo of himself alongside Cyrus, with the two smiling brightly for the camera. Cyrus opted for a leopard print top for the occasion, styling her hair wavy and loose.
Cyrus addresses the presence of her exes in her music
Miley Cyrus has been making music since she was a teen, with her fans having an inside look at her relationship through the years. In a recent appearance on the "Every Single Album" podcast, Cyrus discussed every stage of her music career, opening up about some of her most notorious exes, Nick Jonas and Liam Hemsworth.
When Cyrus began discussing "The Last Song," the film where she met Hemsworth, she revealed that it was a period of her life that she really enjoyed, when she wanted to hang out with Hemsworth every week.
“That’s where I met Liam, who I would go on to marry and write a ton of — or, most of — my songs about,” Cyrus said. “Talk about catching strays,” she joked.
She'd previously revealed that she briefly dated Nick Jonas and used to be very upset with him after he dumped her. “He’s still catching strays,” she said. Still, she made it clear that the two were friends now.
“We’re all moving on. Everything is good. … Niley for life.”
