Melania Trump shared a statement addressing various conspiracy theories that claim Barron was rejected from Harvard University

"Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false," said Nicholas Clemens, Melania's communications director.

Barron is currently a student at New York University and has been the subject of much speculation since the Trump Administration and Harvard University began a legal back-and-forth.

People on different social media outlets began speculating that Trump's attacks on Harvard were because the Ivy League school rejected Barron and even brought up the fact that Malia Obama was a Harvard graduate.

Earlier this week, Trump's administration decided to cut the federal funding that the school received.

More details about Barron's college life

Barron Trump has recently completed his freshman year of college at NYU and likely plans to spend the summer with his parents in Washington D.C. and Mar-a-Lago.

In the past, Donald Trump had shared that Barron had been accepted to different schools, but they opted for NYU. He was rumored to have been linked to the University of Pennsylvania, the Alma Mater of many of his family members, including his father, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany Trump.

Barron is scheduled to graduate from NYU's Business School in 2028. While his college experience has been kept away from the spotlight, with Barron leading an unconventional college experience flanked by Secret Service agents, some of his classmates have revealed that he's relatively shy and likes to play video games.

A separate source said that Barron is pretty social and that girls in his school love him. "He’s a ladies' man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies," said a source to PEOPLE.

Sources seem to be conflicted on Barron's true identity.
