Jennifer Garner is enjoying reuniting with her daughter Violet. The Yale student was spotted with her mother in Los Angeles, with the two shopping for groceries over the weekend, and looking strikingly similar.
The two were spotted this past Sunday, with both of them wearing comfortable clothes. Jennifer wore workout tights with prints that she matched with a dark sweater and some white running shoes. She also wore reading glasses.
Violet wore jeans and a brown sweater. Like her mother, she was also wearing glasses and styled her long hair straight.
The images captured Violet's impressive height, showing her towering over her mother, even though she's wearing sneakers.
Violet's plans for the future
Violet Affleck is currently a student at Yale University. While she has maintained a relatively private life, she has shown interest in activism. This facet of her personality is one that has been present in her since she was a little girl, with Garner sharing a story of how Violet stood up to the paparazzi.
"She stood up on a chair in a little velvet dress, with her hair a bit back and her glasses on and said: 'We didn’t ask for this. We don’t want these cameras, they’re scary,'" said Jennifer to The Hollywood Reporter. Violet's intervention inspired her mother to join other celebrities to advocate for laws protecting young kids from the paparazzi.
Last year, Violet delivered a speech to the LA County Board of Supervisors, sharing the importance and gravity of the effects of long-term COVID-19. "One in 10 infections leads to long COVID, which is a devastating neurological and cardiovascular illness that can take away people's ability to work, move, see, and even think," she said.
Violet's father, Ben Affleck, revealed some of her plans for the summer. "My older one in college is working and trying to get an internship for the summer," he said in an appearance on "Today with Jenna & Friends."
