The transformation in Damon’s appearance is for his upcoming role in a major new film directed by Christopher Nolan, where he portrays the legendary Odysseus.
Embracing a different look to play the mythological hero, Damon’s current style reflects the character’s long and arduous journey, both literal and emotional, as told in Homer’s 'The Odyssey.'
