Demi Lovato's new look has gotten a lot of feedback, but it looks like she's been getting picture-perfect for her wedding. The 32-year-old songstress will reportedly be a married woman by the end of the month. Jordan Lutes popped the question back in December 2023, and Lovato went straight to wedding planning.
According to TMZ, they are going to get married Memorial Day weekend. No other details about the ceremony or rehearsal, location, or who is involved have come out yet. But as we get closer to the special day, we will probably find out more.
What Lovato has said about her big day
Lovato has been planning her wedding since they got engaged. In February 2024, two months after she proposed, she told PEOPLE she was already looking at wedding dresses. "I've been thinking about it and saving them to my Pinterest profile," Lovato told the outlet. "I'm excited. I'm in the stages of planning and very excited about it."
A few months later, in September, she told Jimmy Fallon she wanted it to be as stress-free as possible. "We got engaged in December, and met with a wedding planner, like a month later," she explained, adding that they wanted to get ahead of it. "I want this to feel nothing like work."
While the couple kept most of the details about their forthcoming wedding to themselves, Lovato did share what was probably their pre-wedding shoot! Or even what they used for the save the dates. On Valentine's Day, she shared a gallery where she's wearing two different white dresses and a veil, with Jutes rocking a black suit and a leather tie in another.
"Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life, and I have you to thank for that," she wrote in the caption. "I’m obsessed with your heart, your love, and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together."
Now that we have the date, it all makes sense. Lutes, who goes by "Jutes," is a singer like Lovato and was a co-writer on her songs "Substance," "Happy Ending," and "City of Angels" from her eighth studio album Holy Fvck. They began dating in August 2022.
