Dakota Johnson made her latest public appearance at the Los Angeles screening of 'Materialists' a true family affair. The 35-year-old actress, who stars in the upcoming rom-com alongside Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans, was joined by her mom Melanie Griffith, siblings Stella Banderas, Grace Johnson, and Jesse Johnson.
The actress was also surrounded by a few other family members for the special evening. For the event, Dakota stepped out in a stunning white dress with a sheer skirt, pairing the look with no jewelry, a glamorous makeup look, and her signature brunette hairstyle.
Her mom, Melanie Griffith, was all smiles wearing a brown top paired with loose-fitting jeans and a khaki trench coat. Meanwhile, Stella Banderas, Griffith's daughter with ex-husband Antonio Banderas, looked stylish in a brown dress featuring ruching, complemented by a sleek leather coat.
Grace Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Kelly Phlegler, chose a butter yellow coat with a mini bag and black separates, while Jesse Johnson kept things simple in a gray sweater and black hat.
The family posed together for the cameras, showing that they have a close relationship. Dakota is one of several children from a blended family. In addition to the siblings who joined her at the screening, Dakota also counts Alexander Bauer, Jasper Johnson, and Deacon Johnson, as part of her family circle.
Alexander is the son of Griffith and actor Steven Bauer, while Jasper and Deacon are the children of Dakota’s father, Don Johnson, and actress Kelly Phlegler. Dakota previously told Bustle that she embraces her blended family.
"Most of us are artists," she said to the publication. "Even in my adult life and my new family, most of us are artists. Even the kids, they’re extraordinarily talented people. So you just are dealing with complex people. You grow and you embrace and you say, ‘F--k you and f--k off,’ and then 'I love you, come back.’”
"No matter how f---- up it is, or who’s in rehab, or who’s not speaking to whom, or who’s divorcing whom, we’re family," she continued. "And we are always going to be a family. It’s really real," she declared.
